MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ – The Mountainside Restoration Committee’s MRC Estate Sales division will be conducting an outstanding Estate Sale to raise funds for the maintenance and restoration of the historic Deacon Andrew Hetfield House and Levi Cory House.
The sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 3-4 from 10:00am–3:00pm. Numbers will be given out at 9:00am. No early birds. This sale will take place in Cranford and the address will be announced on Thursday Oct., 2nd on this page.
This sale handles the estate of a radio DJ and features a collection of approximately 7000 LPs, 45s and CDs to be sold as one lot. There are many electronics, including 6 speakers, Denon and Yamaha receivers, stereo mixer, turntable and Unidyne microphone.
There are tons of jewelry, watches (including 14K), and sterling silver coffee pot, trays, candelabras and compotes. Many bags including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Pom Pom, Coach, Radley, etc. are available. The sale features lots of Nantucket baskets including some vintage. There’s a room nearly full of Mackenzie-Childs ware, and many small porcelain boxes. Clothing is for sale, including Lily Pulitzer. Waterford glass, Williamsburg glass, Tiffin Fostoria, tea pots, pitchers, etc. are also available. A Danekar tall case clock is a must-see. Furniture, including dining room table and chairs, sofa and loveseat, and other items are for sale. There are so many miscellaneous items, too much to mention, such as Barbie items, Beanie Babies, etc.

MRC Estate Sales are conducted by trusted volunteer Antiques Experts and Estate Sale Professionals with 35+ years of estate sale experience. Most important, a percentage of this sale’s proceeds will benefit the Mountainside Restoration Committee.
MRC Estate Sales was created to give back to the community and raise additional funds to help preserve and restore local history. The reasonable commission percentage of sales goes directly to the Mountainside Restoration Committee, Inc. which is a 501(c)3 charity.
