On Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2026 at 3:00pm, the Mountainside Public Library will host the Mountainside Restoration Committee’s own Archivist, John Sharkey. John will present a program entitled “Mountainside Then & Now” which is a fascinating journey through the history and evolution of our town. Explore how Mountainside has changed over time, hear captivating stories, and see the people, places, and moments that shaped our community. With 2026 marking the Semi quincentennial of the USA, this is the perfect program showing how Mountainside has evolved since Colonial times.
